BALLISTOL Universal Oil is suitable for maintaining metal, wood, leather, rubber, synthetic material, skin, animals’ coat and much more. Ideally suited for handicraft, industry, agriculture, household, gardening, vehicles, fishing, and shooting sports. Ballistol is physiologically completely harmless, environmentally friendly and biologically degradable.

1) Ballistol is a perfect product to protect and keep your straight razors clean and safe: BALLISTOL provides a protective alkaline film on the surface of your straight razor, neutralizes any acid corrosive residues so that the surface is protected of corrosion. Due to its low surface tension, it is capable of creeping into the tiniest cracks and fissures of your razor. It cleans and makes your razor shiny. Brilliant for the upkeep of straight razors.

It is important here, that no moisture is left on your straight razor when you apply Ballistol. As it covers the surface as a barrier to environmental moisture, it also may trap the moisture on the steel and do not let it evaporate freely.
2) A wonderful support for maintenance of razor strops: Ballistol effectively protects leather against getting hard and dry, against water, and fungi. Residues of tannic acid in leather will be neutralized. Dry leather softens and gets elastic again with a dull shine. The typical smell of Ballistol will evaporate quickly. Leaves no greasy film on the leather.
